TEZU, Dec 4: In a swift breakthrough, Tezu Police solved the robbery case reported on November 29, where two machete-wielding individuals robbed a shop in Tezu market of five cases of Red Bull. The assailants had reportedly threatened the shopkeeper with a dao before fleeing with the energy drink crates.
Immediately after registering the case at PS Tezu, police teams launched a coordinated search operation. Under the leadership of DySP (HQ) Maga Tago, the main accused Atoga Pulu (32) of Bismaknagar, Lower Dibang Valley District was arrested. The stolen items along with the weapon used in the crime have been seized.
Further investigation uncovered that Atoga Pulu was also responsible for recent robbery and theft incidents at wine shops in Tezu, where he allegedly walked off with liquor bottles without paying, escaping before he could be stopped.
The Tezu Police reaffirmed their dedication to public safety, emphasizing that strict and timely action will continue against all criminal elements.
