ITANAGAR, July 16: Education Minister Taba Tedir and Padmini Singla, Commissioner (Education), today flagged off a team of 35 students alongwith State Nodal Officer EBSB and 2 Escorts to participate in the 5- days long programme to be held at Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh from July 18-22 next under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) students visit programme between Paired States.
As a part of the programme the students from Arunachal Pradesh will interact with students and teachers of Uttar Pradesh and exchange their ideas on culture, tradition, cuisines, festivals, games & sports etc., of their respective states. The students will also visit historical places of national and international repute in Uttar Pradesh.
