PASIGHAT, Aug 13: The Arunachal Teachers' Association (ATA) East Siang Unit under the leadership of General Secretary Kalen Komut, handed over a donation of books to the Incharge of Book Donation Drive, Katem Darang today.
The book donation drive is organized by the Department of Education, East Siang, which is holding the event at the Pasighat Outdoor Stadium on August 15. The drive aims to collect and distribute books to underprivileged children and communities, ensuring access to quality reading materials to the needy children of the rural areas of East Siang district. This initiative aligns with broader efforts to support education and foster a reading culture in the region.
While supporting the drive, Komut said "book donation drive is a great way to foster literacy and benefit communities. Donating books can provide access to reading materials for those who may not have them, enriching lives and promoting educational growth."
