ITANAGAR, Sep 19:The Arunachal Teachers Association (ATA) in a release has urged the state government and education department in particular to postpone transfer and posting of teachers till 1^st June 2018 and to continue the process after completion of remaining 4 months of academic session.

Highlighting various difficulties and hardships being faced by students as well as teachers, the association said that teachers working in various schools have completed 50% of the academic syllabus and midterm examinations are also approaching.

It said that under such circumstances, transfer of teachers will hamper the academic continuity of the student across the state.
