ITANAGAR, Nov 7: Close at the heels of the AE (Civil) paper leakage fiasco, the aggrieved aspirants of Post Graduate Teachers(PGT) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) have lodged an FIR against  Deputy Controller of Examination (APPSC), Taket Jerang with the SIC demanding an investigation into the recently held PGT prelims examination.
Speaking to the media at the Press Club today, one of the aspirants stated on 3rd February last APPSC had released an advertisement for the recruitment of 77 Posts (PGT) in different subjects which was later increased to 94 posts. Accordingly, the preliminary examination was held on 7th August, 2022. However, in the light of several allegations of anomalies, discrepancies and ambiguities in the Commission, we demand the cancellation of the recently conducted PGT 2022 exam, she said.
The Preliminary result was declared on 10th August 2022 without any transparency in the selection of the candidates because the total post 77 was increased to 94 in the respective subjects. Moreover, the result was declared overall without any particular subject mentioned or ratio mentioned. The selection of the candidates in each subject is still not disclosed by the Commission, she added.  
The aspirants stated that they also want a thorough investigation and re-conduct of the said exam as the Post Graduate Teacher Recruitment Test 2022 was conducted under the then Deputy Secretary APPSC, Taket Jerang.
