Naharlagun, Jan 18: The Tanii Development Forum (TDF) has appealed citizens to come forward and participate whole heartedly in the peaceful rally on delimitation organized by the Arunachal Pradesh Delimitation Demand Committee (APDDC) on January 21 next from Mithun Gate to Tennis Court, Itanagar at 9am.
TDF president Hage Halley speaking to the media informed, all Apatani residents of capital complex and Ziro along with members of pan-Apatani Society affiliated to Tanw Supuñ Dukuñ (TSD), political leaders, and others held a meeting on January 16 last at the Dree ground, Papunallah, Naharlagun under the Chairmanship of Habung Payeng, Chairman, Standing Delimitation Committee (SDC) to discuss on delimitation issue.
During the meeting, they decided to conduct a Peaceful Rally on Delimitation organized by the Arunachal Pradesh Delimitation Demand Committee (APDDC) on the January 21 from Dree ground to Tennis court, Itanagar, Halley informed.
He also said, TDF has been relentlessly pursuing the issue of delimitation since the year 2017 and intends to continue doing the same till we achieve the aim of getting two or more Assembly Constituencies for Tanii.
TDF ardently calls upon every people of the state to stand united and move forward dedicatedly in this movement for delimitation process in Arunachal Pradesh at the earliest, he added.
