Namsai, Jan 12: A coordination meeting was held today at Namsai under the chairmanship of Abu Tayeng, Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs, to review the preparedness for the 5th Edition of Arunachal Yuva Samanvay 2026.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Namsai, ZPM Chongkham, ADC Chongkham, HoDs and the event management team.
The deliberations focused on the arrangements and preparedness for the 5th Edition of Arunachal Yuva Samanvay 2026 scheduled from January 21 to 24 at Chongkham, Namsai District. Tayeng reviewed the progress of ongoing works and the responsibilities assigned to various stakeholders and issued necessary directions to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the event. Concluding the meeting, he stated that Yuva Samanvay is a flagship programme of the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, GoAP aimed to build an inclusive and empowered youth ecosystem that actively contributes to social harmony, cultural preservation and sustainable development and emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts by all departments for its effective implementation.
