BENGALURU, Jun 12:Bamang Tago has been selected as Executive Member of Badminton Association of India (BAI) during the meeting of the Executive Body of Badminton Association of India (BAI) chaired by its President Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
It may be mentioned that Tago has been spearheading the welfare of Badminton in Arunachal Pradesh since the time he took over as the Secretary of Arunachal State Badminton Association (ABSA) in 2011. He has been relentlessly advocating the popularity of the sport as an organizer and enthusiast thereby helping the sport capture the mind of young talented shuttlers. Tago has also been actively working for improvement in Infrastructure facilities for the sport. His work received a new direction after he took over as the Chairman of the Sports Authority of Arunachal recently.
Er. Ratu Techi, President, (ABSA) has also welcomed the decision.
