NEW DELHI, Sep 13:Minister Power & Industry, Tamiyo Taga met newly inducted Union Power Minister RK Singh today at the latter's office in New Delhi and drew his attention towards the power scenario of Arunachal.

While referring to the memorandum submitted by him to his predecessor during the power ministers conference held on May 2-3 this year, Taga requested the new incumbent for early consideration of the special package to strengthen the infrastructure of the transmission and distribution sector.

Singh assured Taga of extending all possible assistance towards the special package. Taga handed over a copy of his memorandum to the Union Minister which the former submitted to Piyush Goyal on May 2 last at the sidle line of the conference in Delhi.
