ITANAGAR, Nov 18: After a gap of almost three years due to the Covid pandemic, the zonal qualifying round of the XIX Tadar Tang State Level Football Tournament 2022 will  commence from November 19-21 across the state, the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA) said.
All the registered District Football Associations of APFA have been divided into 6 Zones and two teams from each zone will qualify for the final round. Kurung Kumey  and Lower Subansiri have been given automatic qualification; as the former is the defending champion while the latter was the host of the final round of XIX Tadar Tang SLFT 2022. 
West Kameng ( Venue - Dirang) is Zone 1; while  APFA (Venue- SLSA, Chimpu) falls in Zone 2; Upper Subansiri ( Venue- Daporijo) and Lepa Rada ( Venue- Basar) falls under Zone 3 & 4 respectively.
However in Zone 5,  East Siang & Siang have automatically qualified due to non participation/disqualification of other teams in the group. Changlang ( venue-Kharsang) is the last and falls under Zone 6.
