ITANAGAR, May 5: In a delightful moment, one Taba Sama a student of KV-2, Itanagar has been selected in the State football team after she managed to impress the selectors by her football skills in the ongoing Oorja tournament organized by the ITBP.
She is going to participate in the scheduled national football tournament in Orissa starting from May 8 next. Sama, in her debut match played wonderfully and with great confidence and scored 6 goals alone while playing against the ITBP Aalo.
Meanwhile, in the ongoing tournament played here today at Chimpu , CC Club won the match against KV No. 2 (boys) by 12 -01 goals, whereas in another match played today Lohit – Tezu (Girls) beat KV NERIST (girls) by 8-0 goals and CC club A (girls) defeated KV.N0- 2 Itanagar by 12 -0 goals. Whereas in the fourth match of the day CC club 2 (Boys) thrashed KV -Nerist (boys) by 10-0 goals.
Earlier, Commandant 10th BN, Nishith Chandra attended the match as chief guest to encourage the participants .
