PASIGHAT, May 29: Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu accompanied by SP Sumit Kr Jha and engineers of Highway and NHIDCL today visited the Pasighat-Pangin Road block point near Kala-Mati, few kilometers off of Pasighat towards Pangin. The place was lying blocked for about one week due to heavy landslides. After holding thorough spot discussion with the local social activists, engineers and others, the DC directed the personnel of Puna-Hinda Construction to put all efforts to clear the block point immediately so that stranded vehicles with essential commodities, patients etc could move and cross the block point at the earliest possible. 
Meanwhile, local sources confirmed this evening that road communication has been temporarily restored by Puna-Hinda Construction and stranded vehicles were allowed to cross in batches. As per their advisory, till completion of the work, movement of vehicles will be allowed in between 12 pm to 1pm only.
