ITANAGAR, Oct 6:  The summon against the Chairperson of Arunachal Against Corruption’s (AAC) Toko Sheetal  by Women Police Station, Itanagar is very unfortunate, said  legal advisor-AAC,  Advocate Reken Ingo.
 Speaking to the media, Advocate Reken Ingo stated "It is very surprising that the authority has failed to take action and is even reluctant to file a regular case against dozens of FIR lodged in various police stations of Arunachal Pradesh against one Akhilesh Pratap Singh of Uttar Pradesh and former President of AAC Tarh Tahar."
He further added, the Women Police station, Itanagar has summoned Sheetal on GD entry only but no regular case was registered yet which is unfortunate. Moreover, under 160 CrPc authorities can summon a witness for investigation, so I am confused here as Toko Sheetal has been summoned as accused or witness, added the Legal Advisor.
Advocate Ingo also informed that they have asked for the details of the FIR/complaint against which Summon has been issued. However the police has denied disclosing anything about the complainant or the FIR.
"We are not against anyone but against corruption,  AAC has documents that proved that there is some mismanagement of funds under the leadership of CM Pema Khandu, and  AAC is  open for debate on the issue," Ingo said.
He added that the demands or allegation of AAC is vast, and if they take all this to the court it will take time and money , that’s why AAC is demanding CBI and ED inquiry on the whole issue.
