ITANAGAR, Oct 10: Irked by the lackadaisical attitude of the state government, the All Kra Daadi District Students' Union (AKDDSU) declared to gherao APSSB office and shut down for 48 hours from 5 am of October 19 till 5 am of October 21 next as a mark of resentment and protest for non-fulfillment of their demands.
Speaking to reporters, President–AKDDSU Pakyum Talop stated, despite repeated pleas to the APSSB, they have been ignored. Earlier we the All Kra Daadi District Studets' Union (AKDDSU) submitted three different Memorandums to the authority concerned and thereafter repeatedly submitted reminder letters for the same and also held peaceful dharna at Indira Gandhi Park Itanagar for the fulfillment of our demands pertaining to conduct of job interview under APSSB regarding 41 various posts sanctioned for Kra Daadi District which is lying vacant under APSSB since 2018, he said.
Union is also demanding, establishment of Fire Station at Kra Daadi District, and Establishment of Multipurpose Educational Counseling Centre with a lodging facility at Kra Daadi District but the concerned authority has failed to meet our demand, added the President.
