Doimukh, Aug 22: More than 820 students, teaching and non teaching staffers of the GHSS Doimukh benefitted from the school safety programme organised by the District Disaster Management Authority, Papum Pare in collaboration with the NDRF Doimukh held on Tuesday.
As part of the program, DDMO Nima Tashi threw light on disasters and its impact on human life and properties. He advised the students to be vigil and avoid venturing out to rivers and forests during the monsoon season.
The  NDRF team presented mock drill on earthquake.They also demonstrated how  CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) can be administered during emergencies to save precious lives.
Earlier similar programmes were held at GHSS Kimin on August 19 and at GHSS Sagalee on August 21. All together 1100 students and teachers benefitted from the program.
