ITANAGAR, Sep 11:The Students Union Movement of All Arunachal (SUMAA) in a release has strongly opposed the recently adopted Tibetan rehabilitation policy by the state government.
Highlighting various benefits and privileges being provided to them, the Union said Tibetans are the only refugees in the world which is enjoying many privileges in comparison to other refugees under UNHCR as well as world NGOs working for their upliftment.
Fearing the Refugees would snatch away tribal rights and land in near future, the union condemned the state government for spending crores of money from state exchequer, which is meant for development of indigenous people of the state.
Terming the development as threat to tribal’s existence, the association while accusing Chief Minister, Pema Khandu for the blunder has demanded his resignation on moral grounds.
