Itanagar, Aug 26: The sitting of the State Steering Committee on Swadesh Darshan 2.0 was held today under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Dharmendra.
A presentation on Swadesh Darshan 2.0 and the State Perspective Plan was presented by Mission Director Abu Tayeng. The SSC had a detailed deliberation on the proposal of the department and found it to be well thought of and in sync with the laid out parameters.
The Chief Secretary advised the department to develop accommodation and infrastructure to cater to tourists. He also advised to prepare such travel modules to attract visitors during off season and monsoon.
Thereafter, the State Steering Committee approved the State Perspective Plan prepared by the Mission Directorate (Swadesh Darshan 2.0).
The meeting was attended by the Secretary Tourism Sadhana Deori, Secretary UD Mitali Namchoom, Secretary RD Amarnath Talwade, Joint Secretary PWD Kangki Darang, and Tourism Department officers.
