ITANAGAR, Jul 30: Paralympic Association of Arunachal(PAA), Secretary General Techi Sonu called on Kiren Rijiju, Minister Earth Sciences on Sunday and submitted a memorandum pertaining to promotion and development of paralympic sports & persons with disabilities.
Sonu briefed the Minister about the vision and mission of the Paralympic Association of Arunachal, about the rules of the ministerial level funding for financial assistance to the state registered NGO.
Rijiju, assured all possible support and guidance to promote the scope of the Para sports and activities in the state to encourage the Divyangjangs and Para Athletes for excellence in their respective fields.
Sonu also briefed about the lack of  facilities for  Divyangjan sports persons and others  fields to showcase their hidden talents in the state.
