Naharlagun, Jan 22: The State Health Agency, Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Society, Arunachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the Nyishi Baptist Church Council (NBCC), conducted a successful enrollment drive at the NBCC Compound, Naharlagun, today. The drive aimed to register individuals under the Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY) and Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), two flagship health assurance schemes designed to provide financial protection against medical expenses to eligible beneficiaries.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with many individuals and families being enrolled under these schemes. Beneficiaries were guided through the registration process by a dedicated team from the State Health Agency, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nabam Peter, CEO SHA, expressed gratitude to NBCC for their partnership in reaching out to the community. “This collaboration is a step forward in our mission to provide universal health coverage to the people of Arunachal Pradesh. We are committed to ensuring that no individual is left behind in accessing quality healthcare,”he said.
Rev. Dr. Tagang Gelo, General, Secretary NBCC, expressed gratitude to SHA for conducting the enrollment drive while emphasizing on the importance of such collaborations in increasing the awareness of the people.
The CMAAY and AB PM-JAY schemes offer comprehensive health assurance coverage, empowering families with financial security during medical emergencies. This enrollment drive is part of the State Health Agency’s ongoing efforts to expand the reach of these schemes to every corner of the state.
