ITANAGAR,  Jan 10: Home Minister Bamang Felix held a joint meeting with the All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU), All Nyishi Students' Union (ANSU), and aggrieved aspirants on the ongoing cash for job scam in the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) at Civil Secretariat on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media, Felix said that no one involved in the incident will be spared by the authorities. "State government is extending all support to the investigating agency so that no such incident occurs in the future. Today’s meeting was fruitful and members of AAPSU, ANSU, and Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee for APPSC put forwarded their views on the ongoing issues," the Home Minister said.
Responding to questions, Felix also informed that the Special Investigation Cell (SIC) has already submitted the required information to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and now it is the discretion of the ED to act on it as per their norms.
"They are central agencies, we cannot interfere in their workspace," added the Home Minister.
Felix also said that all the cases of APPSC cash-for-job scam now have been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Moreover, we must appreciate the investigation process of SIC and state police for taking strong exceptions to the case and tracking down many accused within a short span of time, he said.
On demands of aspirants to declare 'null and void' the examinations where anomalies has been found, the Home Minister said as of now the government cannot take any decision as the investigation is still in process. 
The state government can only give suggestions to the Commission for reformation and it is firm to bring reforms and restore the faith of the aspirants, Felix added.
