ITANAGAR, Mar 26: Module -1 of AFC C Diploma for Football Coaches concluded today at Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy, Chimpu. Total 24 coaches from the state and across the country are taking part in the course.
Second module of the course is scheduled to be held in the month of May next, informed Orin Lego, Administrative Officer of APFA.
The course is being organised by the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association under its  state development initiative. "For the development of football in the state, we must look at the development of all aspects and coaches' education is one them," said Lego.
Former India International and AIFF Coach Educator, Gumpe Rime has been assigned as the Instructor of the course while Rocky Ramching and Gibi Taba are the Course Coordinators.
Treasurer, AIFF & Honorary Secretary, APFA, Kipa Ajay along with John Neelam, Vice President, Gebin Kato, Executive Member and Orin Lego, Administrative Officer attended the last session of the module.
In his address to participants, Ajay suggested coaches to get involved in academies and training  centres in their areas while also conducting football development activities from time to time.
