TAWANG, Aug 18: The 38th Battalion of Shastra Seema Bal (SSB) Tawang, conducted a mega plantation drive around the Battalion Headquarter campus. The motto of the event was “Plant Tree Save Earth”, a total  of 756 saplings were planted.
All the officers and jawans of the battalion participated in the plantation drive. The second in command of the battalion motivated troops to develop plantation hobbies and plant trees at their respective home town and mentioned importance of trees in the ecosystem.
