NAHARLAGUN, Apr 16: Member, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) Taba Rosy today visited the OJU Welfare Association (OWA) here and gifted games and sports items to the children of the home.
The NCPCR member along with the members of Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR) on arrival were accorded a warm welcome by Chairperson, OWA Ratan Anya and the staff followed by a quick tour of the integrated complex. The games and sports items consisting of 4 bicycles and several other indoor and outdoor game equipment were sponsored by Member, NCPCR, Dr R G Anand which he promised during his last visit to OWA and Oju Mission School. 
While interacting with the children Taba appreciated them for actively participating in extracurricular activities and the staff for keeping the home clean and hygienic. However, she expressed concern about the rise of child labour cases in Arunachal Pradesh and stressed on checking the practice.  APSCPCR members Tame Achum and Jumtum Minga spoke on the Right to Education Act and good/bad touch respectively.  
The children conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to Dr Anand for sponsoring the sports equipment.
