ITANAGAR, Oct 19: Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker P D Sona on Monday paid a visit to Government Higher Secondary School Mechukha and interacted with school authority and students about the facilities in the school and its infrastructures. The Speaker was accompanied by DC, SP and HoDs of various government departments.
During the visit, Sona also inquired about the grievances of students and teaching faculties, and assured to look into the matter relating to improvement of school infrastructure. He also assured to sanction funds for construction of toilets in the school premise.
Established way back in the year 1958, the Government Higher Secondary School Mechukha is one of the oldest in the state and only Higher Secondary School in the entire Shi-Yomi district.
