MECHUKHA, Nov 4: State Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona on Sunday inspected the Civil Terminal Building at Mechukha.
Sona was accompanied by DC Shi-Yomi Mito Dirchi, ADC Mechukha Kesang Goiba and officials of concern department.
Interacting with the officials, Sona expressed satisfaction over the work and directed them to complete the remaining work.
It is worth mentioning that after Pasighat, Tezu, Ziro and Itanagar, the fixed wing dornier 228 aircraft will start its operation in Mechukha in Shi-Yomi.
The dornier service will not only facilitate easy and fast movement of public but also help in boosting tourism sector.
The Speaker also inspected various developmental projects including multipurpose hall, festival ground, new OPD building, 40-bedded hospital and newly constructed wet market.
Stressing that the quality of work shouldn't be compromised at any cost, the Speaker urged upon the department concern to strictly monitor and maintain the same.
