NAMSAI, May 7: A comprehensive review meeting was convened today, under the chairmanship of Speaker APLA and Chairman of G20 Arunachal Unit, P D Sona, to assess the preparedness for the upcoming C20 events in Namsai. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom, among other prominent stakeholders.
The C20 events, scheduled to take place from June 10 next in Namsai district holds great significance as they aim to bring a perspective from civil society organisations from around the world to the G20 heads of state to deliberate upon crucial global issues. 
Sona, emphasized the importance of these events in promoting dialogue and collaboration, contributing to the collective efforts towards sustainable development and global prosperity.
During the review meeting, the discussion focused on key aspects of the C20 events, including infrastructure readiness, security arrangements, accommodation facilities, transportation, and logistical support. 
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein provided valuable insights into the local arrangements and initiatives being undertaken to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh, enhancing the overall experience of the participants. 
MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom also shared his inputs and ideas to make the event successful. 
Secretary GA, Sadhana Deori shared updates on the progress made by the state government in ensuring a seamless and hospitable environment for the esteemed delegates and participants.
The meeting witnessed a vibrant exchange of ideas and constructive suggestions from all stakeholders, aimed at creating a memorable and impactful C20 event.
Meanwhile, Speaker expressed his satisfaction with the progress made thus far and commended the dedication and collaborative spirit exhibited by the officials involved in the preparations. He emphasized the need for meticulous attention to detail and the highest standards of hospitality to ensure the success of the C20 events and to showcase the warmth and rich cultural diversity of Arunachal Pradesh.
The review meeting concluded with an action plan being formulated to address the identified areas of improvement and to expedite the ongoing preparations. Speaker extended his gratitude to all the stakeholders for their unwavering commitment and urged them to work collectively to make the C20 events a grand success.
Earlier, during the day, led by DCM the Speaker and all stakeholders inspected the venues and sites for the event.
