ITANAGAR, May 5: Aasha Malviya, a mountaineer and a athlete from Nataram village, Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, who is on a solo cycle ride ‘Sampoorn Bharat Yatra’ called on the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Lt. General KT Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar today. Malviya has covered a distance of 14,300 km through 15 States of India with messages of Woman Safety and Empowerment and Arunachal Pradesh is the 16th State.
The Governor commended the cyclist for her Mission. He advised her also to spread the message of Swachh Bharat, girl education and national unity during her ride.
Malviya informed that her ‘Yatra’, after covering a distance of 25,000 km, will conclude in the National Capital New Delhi on August 15 this year.
