AALO, Aug 6:In what can be hailed as a noble gesture and morale booster for fire victims reeling in misery, people from all walks of life have come forward to help the affected families of the Tadin village fire with donations in cash and kind.
The Executive, Senior Members and Youths of All Kombo Welfare and Development Society led by its Chairman Momar Lollen handed over contributions of Rs. 1, 00,000 to the fire victims in cash and provided construction material like wood and bamboo to start the construction of temporary houses.
Kombo Youth Capital Complex Itanagar, an organisation under the banner of AKWDS came all the way from Itanagar and donated clothing and mosquito nets. The team had close interaction with the villagers to prevent such type fire mishap in future.
The APWWS West Siang Unit, Mahila Samiti, West Siang Women Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society and Sipu Puyi team also handed over Rs. 25, 000 to the fire victims.
