ITANAGAR, Jun 7:The Nino welfare society (NWS) on Thursday congratulated Kishon Tekseng and Taka Tamut for successfully scaling Mount Everest on May 24 last without the help of Sherpas. The Society also appreciated Tekseng- who set a new world record by climbing up to 26, 000 ft without using oxygen cylinders. In this regard, the Society in a formal reception programme organised  today conferred the duo with certificate of appreciation.
