ITANAGAR, Nov 6: In connection with the molestation case of minor girls at the Government Residential School, Karo under Pidi circle in Shi Yomi district, the All Ato Goyor Aao Welfare Society (AAGAWS) on Sunday demanded the police to arrest the alleged accused Yumken Bagra (hostel warden) at the earliest.
The AAGAWS, informed despite the FIR lodged at Monigong Police Station on November 4 last, accused Yumken Bagra is absconding and is yet to be arrested.
Stating criminal should be given capital punishment so that no one dares to commit the same crime, the society further appealed to the PRI leaders and government officers those in higher position not to interfere in the due process of police action.
Earlier, condemning the shameful act in the strongest terms, the APWWS also demanded immediate action against the culprit and booked him under the POCSO Act.
