Roing, Aug 21: A workshop on soap making was conducted today at the Career Counselling Centre, Roing wherein participants were taught about making soap bar, detergent powder and liquid dish soap. Attendees were taught about the different ingredients and chemicals used, sources of procurement and soap making process by resource person Zarina Linggi.
26 people who participated in the workshop were individuals and members of self help groups of Lower Dibang Valley and representatives of a PLF and 12 SHGs of East Siang district. The workshop was conducted by the Lower Dibang Valley District Administration under the supervision of AE Rupa Mimi and Nimina Namchoom.
