Aalo, Jan 4: District Skill Committee, West Siang in a meeting today here at the Conference Hall of DC’s office under chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Moki Loyi gave approval to the Computer Education and Beautician courses meant for the unemployment youths of the district which are being imparted by the GoI identified agency.
The DC while stressing on publicity of the courses said they will benefit the district’s unemployed youths particularly the school drop-outs and also hinted on making surprise visits to assess their progress from time to time. Deputy Director of Industries Gomar Angu informed that theoretical and practical classes are being conducted in a 80:20 ratio.
The agency’s representative Kusum Narzary disclosed that the 3-month training is being imparted to all enthusiastic youths of the district including interested housewives. DIPRO
