ITANAGAR, Dec 1: Two more persons both government officials were arrested by the Special Investigation Cell (SIC) in connection with the question paper leakage in APPSCCE-2017 & other examinations, today.
The arrestees have been identified as as  Karik Darang (33), JE, RWD, Pangin and   Yimar Rakshap(33), ADO, Anjaw.
The SIC in its press statement informed that the arrests took place after detailed interrogation, technical and financial analysis of suspects.
The SIC investigation into the paper leak matter is ongoing, and all facets of the case are being investigated in detail. All legal formalities and norms of professionalism are being maintained during the investigation. SIC is committed to ensuring justice to the aggrieved, SP (SIC) Anant Mittal said.
With the arrest of Karik Darang and  Yimar Rakshap, the total arrests in the case now stands at 24 (Twenty-Four).
