PASIGHAT, Feb 13: Siang Trust in collaboration with National Medicos Organization and Seva Bharti Purvanchal conducted one-day free medical camp at Namsing village under Mebo subdivision as part of 20th Dhanvantari Seva Yatra on Monday.
The camp was inaugurated by local ZPM Gumin Tayeng and Medicine Specialist Dr. Rakesh Mahla along with three doctors from Rajasthan and Assam and medical staffers from PHC Namsing extended free services to more than seventy patients from Namsing and adjoining villages in the said camp.
Various clinical tests including blood sugar, blood pressures etc were also conducted and free medicines were distributed to the patients. The President and Secretary of Siang Trust Dr. Onik Moyong and Mohonto Pangging respectively informed that the team will conduct more camps at Adi Pasi, Rottung, Rengging and Ledum villages in the coming days.
