PASIGHAT, Feb 2: A free health camp was conducted at Namsing village, Mebo Subdivision in East Siang district by Siang Trust NGO today. Senior Opthalmologist Dr. Beauty Borang Perme, Senior Surgeon, Dr. Kaling Megu, Dental Surgeonss Dr. Mini Ering and Dr. Miti Burang, Retired Additional Director (DHS), Dr. Saibal Bhattacharjee, Retired Joint Director(DHS), Dr. Runi Tasung, SMO Incharge Dr.Lung Perme, medical staff of PHC Namsing, President of Siang Trust, Group Captain Mohonto Panging Pao, VM (Retd.),supporting staff and representatives of Siang Trust participated in the health camp.
GBs, Village Secretary and elders of Namsing village also assisted in the conduct of the camp. Total 246 patients from Namsing, kongkul, Seram, Gadum,Mer,Sogan villages were examined including senior citizens.
Similar health camps are planned for citizens of remote villages of the area, the release informed. DIPRO
