Hayuliang, Jan 30: A massive fire broke out in the early hours of Thursday, around 3:30 AM, reducing at least 15 shops in the Old Bazar area of Hayuliang, Anjaw district, to ashes. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
While no casualties were reported, the fire resulted in significant property losses. Local authorities and residents rushed to the scene to assess the damage and provide immediate assistance.
Local MLA Dasanglu Pul expressed deep concern over the incident and assured that all possible measures would be taken to support the victims. She also urged the community to come together in solidarity and extend help to those who lost their livelihoods in the unfortunate incident.
