ITANAGAR, Jul 6: Capital police has arrested seven people with 13.40 grams of suspected heroin, 73.12 grams of cannabis, and sale proceeds (drug sales) of Rs, 7200 on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, the team of police  arrested the accused identified as Pradip Das, Tayor Passar, Dalang Nibe, Tobom Nayam, Birbal Nayak, Asmot Ali, and Jiyabur Rahman. All seven people were arrested from Helipad Colony, Naharlagun on July 5 last.
In addition to the above-seized items, a bolero vehicle has been seized. A case under NDPS Act has been registered.
