Chennai, Nov 17: In a landmark moment for Arunachal Pradesh, Ginjing Tari from Siang District has achieved a historic feat by winning a gold medal in the Youth Boys category at the National Track Cycling Championship held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. 
This remarkable achievement marks the first time an athlete from Arunachal has secured a gold in cycling at the national level. Ginjing Tari’s dedication and perseverance have not only brought glory to his district but has also elevated the state’s standing in the national sports arena. Competing against some of the country’s best young cyclists, his victory showcases the immense potential of youth talent from Arunachal Pradesh, said Coach-Arunachal Cycling Association, Taka Tamut.
 14-year-old Ginjing Tari hails from Pangkeng village, Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh and is the son of Takar Tari.
