ITANAGAR, Apr 17: In a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister, the All Abotani Clan Organization has requested him to create a separate Abo Tani culture and tradition affairs department to protect and promote the rich cultural heritage of the state.
Asserting that homogeneity in culture, tradition and heritage can play important role in bringing peace harmony and unity in the state, it said that advent of modernization and influx of new culture is greatly affecting the very survival of rich traditions and culture of the tribal society.
