DC inaugurates school amenity
ITANAGAR, Jul 28:Three day state level seminar on Yoga and Naturopathy on the theme “Yoga and Neurotherapy”
organized by Arunachal Pradesh Indian Medicine Council in collaboration with Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy, Ministry of AYUSH got underway today at Banquet Hall attended by medical officers, general public and school students of the capital complex.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest, Acharaya Ramgopal Dixit, Member of Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy and Health Consultant, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi, spoke about the importance of Yoga and neuro-therapy in our daily life. He mentioned that neurological disorders, joint pain, depression etc. can be addressed by practicing neurotherapy. He further informed that he has trained many youths to be neurotherapist in his Institute at New Delhi.
Special Guest Prasant Arora renowned social activist mentioned that the students should practice yoga in daily life in order to stay healthy. He appreciated the organizer for conducting such a well organized seminar which targets especially youth of the State and general pubic.
Dr. Sriprakash, Senior Research Officer, Regional Ayurvedic Research Institute, Itanagarand Dr. KK Brahma, Assistant Director, Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Itanagar were also present.
In the conclusion, Dr. Inya Lingu, OSD to Minister Health & Family Welfare, Jomde Kena passed his wishes for grand success of the seminar. Kena expressed and communicated that such programme where public participation is possible must be encouraged. Dr. Inya Lingu specially thanked all the Resource persons who came from Delhi and from the State and participants.
