Roing, Sep 9: ‘We have to work together to take up the task of strengthening the transmission lines in the district on a mission mode’, stated Secretary(Power) Ajay Kumar Bisht during a meeting of the District Administration and officers of PGCIL to review the progress of Comprehensive Scheme and Roing- Chapakhow line works under NERTS. He added that the area faces frequent power outages and low voltage problems and these problems could be solved with the completion of works on the transmission line. Deputy Commissioner Soumya Saurabh(IAS) requested PGCIL to expedite the progress of works and assured the timely clearance of hindrances.
Executive Director (PGCIL) Adish Kumar Gupta stated that with the timely support provided by the state government, the works on the Comprehensive Scheme was set to be completed by March 2023.
Issues related to comprehensive scheme(T&D) for strengthening of EHV transmission line and Distributed Management Service(DMS) station and its line was discussed.
Secretary(Power) Ajay Kumar Bisht(IAS), along with officials  inspected the EHV Substation at Gerukamukh, 33/11 KV sub station DMS Bolung, 132/33 sub station at Roing and reviewed the progress of Comprehensive Scheme for strengthening of transmission and distribution system and NERTS works in Lower Dibang Valley district.
