MIAO, Apr 16: The Miao Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 25 Sector AR/ IGAR North organized a free medical camp under its civic action program at Motongsa village, Old Longchong in Changlang district on Sunday.
The camp was conducted at the remote and isolated location with an aim to provide medical assistance through screening, medication and consultations to the villagers. The objective of the camp was to give medical care, medical advice and reference for specialized treatment and surgery.
Apart from providing medical assistance, basic knowledge on health education including precautions from common diseases was also imparted. The medical team also elaborated on the significance of hygiene and sanitation for better living standards.
