ITANAGAR, Apr 10:

 

Highlighting the plight of students of Government Secondary School, Mengio Circle, All Papum Pare District Students’ Union (APPDSU) has requested the Deputy Commissioner, Yupia to depute adequate TGT subject teachers in the school.

Informing that the school is functioning with only 4 teachers including the Headmaster, the union said it has received complaints from the students that school authority is refusing admission to Class IX and X citing subject teacher scarcity.

 

 Disclosing that at present only 2 teachers are running the school as the other two have been transferred on medical ground, the union claimed that no replacement has been made against the transferred teachers.

 

The union has made fervent appeal to the DC to direct the concern DDSE to make available at least requisite teachers within 15 days for smooth functioning of the school and betterment of student community.
