Hollongi, July 2: Search operation for the two minor children who drowned in the Holongi river under Huto panchayat due to flood which occurred on June 28 last has been called off after five days of relentless search.
District Disaster management Team, NDRF and SDRF Search and Rescue teams arrived at the decision as despite five days of intense search operation there was no trace of the missing children. 
Decision for closing of search operations was taken with the consent given by the relatives and parents of the missing children who said that they have lost hope and do not want to undergo any further trauma, the District Disaster Management Authority said in a press statement.
