KIMIN, AUG 19:

 

A two days long science and communication awareness programme got underway at Government Secondary School organized by department of Science & Technology.

Inaugurating the programme, Kimin SDO, J Padung said that such scientific programme will help students have a better understanding of science and improve their learning capabilities.

 

Science & Technology Department, Joint Director Debajit Mahanta, Scientist (B) and Deputy Director P Lombi, Tezpur University, HoD Mathematic Science Dr. Bhim Prasad Sharma, Freelance environmentalist from Guwahati , Jayanta Kumar Sharma among others also presented their thoughts and views on importance of science in this present age.

 

Poster making, drawing, painting, essay competition, experimental activities etc will be conducted in the two day event.
