NAHARLAGUN, Apr 22:
In an exemplary gesture, the State Bank of India (SBI) donated a 20-seater bus to Abotani Bidya Niketan (ABN) under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) schemes.
The key of the Bus was handed over to the chairman of the school cum former BJP President, Tai Tagak in a small function held today at the school premises.
Addressing the gathering, SBI CGM NE Circle, Mr Murty said that SBI has been always in forefront to give service to nation building and is committed to fulfill the social obligation through CSR activities to the needy people.
Tagak who is the chairman of the Vidyalaya, conveyed his gratitude to the SBI for the noble gesture.
Arunachal Siksha Vikash Samiti Secretary Nabam Ruja, Executive Member Tame Rajen among others also addressed the gathering.
Naharlagun SBI AGM Robin Pathak and Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank chairman Akshya Kumar, SBI RBO Itanagar S Bairagi, RSS State Executive Member Talem Mize, students and BJP party workers and RSS leaders were present during the function.
Later the dignitaries also participated in tree plantation programme held in the school campus.
