KHONSA, May 5: MLA Wanglam Sawin today inaugurated an outdoor open air gym here at the Hangpan Dada Park.
Speaking at the inauguration, Sawin thanked the department of sports & youth affairs and the central government for installation of the important public health amenity.
DSO(Sports), Khonsa Noah Mongku informed that the proposal for  installation of Outdoor Open Air Gym at Khonsa was placed to the Director of sports & youth affairs, in 2019 when Kiren Rijiju was the then Union minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, and finally the government approved for installation of open air gyms at 26 district headquarters of Arunachal Pradesh.
