SEREN, Jan 15: In an attempt to ensure that welfare & government facilities reach people’s doorstep, the Lower Siang District Administration conducted Sarkar Apke Dwar at Serene Primary School on January 11. The programme was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Marto Riba along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Nari, Kenbom Nyodu, DPO of Likabali Hengo Riba, HODs and other dignitaries.
Meanwhile, the villagers from Seren Circle availed the facilities of various department services during the camp.  As many as 16 departments provided their services to the public at their doorstep. During the camp, the concern line departments distributed tools and equipment, soil health cards, MGNREGS Job Cards/ST/PRC/Birth/Income Certificates and 76 Learners Driver License etc.

The Forest & Environment Department distributed varieties of saplings and imparted awareness for the afforestation and consequences of deforestation on the occasion. (DIPRO)
