YINGKIONG, Mar 14: The awareness training to rural women on agro-based and small and cottage industry activities to support and improve their livelihood activities was conducted by ICDS project Yingkiong. Trainees were advised against using chemical fertilizers and encouraged to go for organic farming. Sericulture and cultivation of cocoons was also promoted as a source of livelihood generation.
