PASIGHAT, Jul 18: APRB - Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Papum Pare in collaboration with East Siang District Administration launched the  90 day Campaign  “Azadi se Antodaya tak” ,as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav  in the district. Under this central  flagship program, an entrepreneurship training – Pashu Mitra on Dairy & Poultry farming and other  livestock farming  for unemployed youth & Self  Help group (SHGs)  members of East Siang was inaugurated here today  at Town Club . Altogether 25 beneficiaries are attending the skill development programme from July 18 to September 16 next. The Arunachal Pradesh Rural Livelihood Mission (ArSRLM) , East Siang is also a stakeholder. 
Officials at the meet said that animal husbandry activities if taken up with proper scientific training can really boost income and be a profitable venture.
Joint Director, Veterinary Training Institute (VTI),  Pasighat ,Dr. Nyodu  also highlighted the focus of the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh for skill training of youth adding that youth should take up these income generating activities.
KVK Incharge, Dr. Hussain urged to avail various subsidy schemes in the animal husbandry sector adding that through such ventures the youth and SHGs can be job providers for others. The KVK Incharge cited the success story of Sitajakhala in Assam in milk production through cooperative movement.  The KVK scientist also stressed on integrated farming.
Chief Manager, SBI, Pasighat also spoke on aspects of agricultural loan and stressed on timely payment for credit score.
Martin Tayeng, faculty cum Training Coordinator, RSETI, Papumpare, informed that East Siang & West Siang in Arunachal Pradesh have been selected among 75 districts of the country under   the  flagship of the  Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Govt. of  India as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Awareness on beneficiary schemes in livestock sectors through banks, entrepreneurship development, Marketing & financial management, time management ,exposure trips are some of the main highlights of the skill development training, he informed.  DIPRO
